Nomadhut is for people trying to make something happen.
Founders. Freelancers. Artists. Writers. Developers. Remote workers.
People who need more runway, fewer distractions, and somewhere decent to work that does not cost venture-capital money.
The first one is opening in Bajamar, a quiet coastal town in North Tenerife.
Private rooms. Shared workspace. Fast internet. Proper desks. A few minutes from the ocean.
Not a retreat.
Not a hotel.
Not a digital nomad resort.
Most coliving spaces sell a lifestyle.
We are trying to build something more useful.
Somewhere you can stay for a month or more, get your head down, meet good people, spend less, and still live somewhere interesting.
Long term, the idea is to create a small network of affordable live/work spaces in overlooked buildings. Coliving, coworking, studios, cafés, maybe makerspaces.
But we are starting simply.
One building.
One island.
One very tight budget.
That matters.
If Nomadhut is going to be genuinely affordable, we cannot build it like a boutique hotel and then pretend the prices are accessible. We have to buy carefully, fit out intelligently, reuse what we can, and keep the whole thing lean.
That is the point.
Why Nomadhut?
Because it is the place I kept wishing existed.
Something with the social side of a hostel, but for people who are here to work, build, write, code, make, think, or start again.
Private rooms, not dorms.
A proper setup, not a wobbly desk in the corner of an Airbnb.
Longer stays, not weekend tourism.
We also have to be honest about place.
A lot of “digital nomad” projects arrive in towns, take the scenery, push up prices, and call it community.
We do not want to do that.
Nomadhut needs to be slower, longer-stay, more locally connected, and useful to the places it opens in.
That means working with local people, supporting local businesses, creating opportunities where we can, and not treating the town like a backdrop.
We are not trying to build paradise.
We are trying to build a practical base for people who need time, space and a bit more chance.

Why Tenerife?
We are starting in Bajamar, on the north coast.
It is quieter. Greener. Wetter. Stranger. More local. More interesting.
There are natural swimming pools, cliffs, surf, walks into Anaga, buses to La Laguna and Santa Cruz, and far fewer people pretending their laptop by the pool is a business strategy.
That matters.
Nomadhut is not for people who want an all-inclusive resort with a coworking sticker on it.
It is for people who want somewhere affordable, beautiful and real — where they can stay a while, get work done, and still walk down to the Atlantic when their brain stops working.
Bajamar makes sense because it has the thing we care about most.
Space to think.
Space to work.
Space to start again.
