This isn’t just a bag. Oh no. This is the bag. The bag you tell yourself you don’t need because you already have a perfectly good one at home, which—if you’re honest—smells faintly of old sandwiches and doesn’t so much carry your laptop as hold it hostage.
This daypack, however, is different. Handcrafted from waxed canvas and real leather, it’s designed to withstand actual life. Remember time you dropped your rucksack in a puddle because you were trying to answer an email while crossing the street? This bag takes it all in its stride, which is more than can be said for you.
The roll-top opening gives you both quick access and the smug sense that you’re part of some elite, secret courier service. Inside, there’s a padded laptop sleeve—because apparently we all carry £1,500 computers around like sandwiches now—and extra pockets so you can at least pretend to be organised.
On the outside: a front zip pocket, two side slots (water bottle, umbrella, baguette—live your truth), and, for the truly paranoid, an anti-theft pocket at the back. Because yes, the world is full of pickpockets, but don’t worry, they’ll give up in despair once they realise you’ve hidden your valuables in a secret compartment.
The straps are adjustable, the back panel is padded, and the design is minimalist enough to make you look tasteful without tipping into “person who spends three hours on Pinterest every morning.” And yes, it comes in natural colours with metal hardware so you can tell yourself it’s both modern and vintage. Like vinyl records. Or wine that comes in a can.
I travelled with it as a Ryanair carry on… and I didn’t get stopped 👍. I will test it properly in the bag sizer on the return journey, the height is supposedly 3cm too tall, but it’s soft so it should squeeze down… That’s the theory. Update: Done! see photo! amazing
